Het word gedaan door een particulier bedrijf dus?! Waarom publiceren die niet wat info hierover dan?!

Vind het allemaal iets te vaag. Mocht het door defensie / overheid worden onderzocht dan is het sowieso zinloos om je er in te verdiepen De 'waarheid' komt dan toch niet boven tafel, mocht de uitkomst spectaculier zijn.

The BlueView sonar image has range marks showing that from the lower part of the fan, which is in front of the ROV, to the upper part (outer ring) it is 14 meters. The widht should be something like 30 meters more or less. So what you see is just a part of the circle in a 2 dimensional plane.


Peter Lindberg:
What is also good to know about the BlueView sonar is that it is a "live" sequence we see when we piloting the ROV. If a fish passes in front in front of the ROV we actually sees its movements, not like an ordinary sonar or radar which only shows a "still" picture of an object. But this also means that it takes a lot of space, like several gigs per minute, so we can not recording everything. And as you know, we had problems with the BlueView so we really did not get so many seconds of recorded sonar data or snap shots.


Peter Lindberg:
We will hopefully be able to do some ROV dives on the second anomaly and figure out what it is. The staircase comment was slipped from my mouth, and probably to early. I have seen something that looks like a stair, or steps, on the Multi Beam raw data. And it looks like they going from the missing part on the left side of the side scan image from last year and down to the bottom. I could only count to eight of them and that should mean that every step should be like a meter high which is a bit to high for a person to use. If there actually are something that looks like steps they probably just natural.

Peter Lindberg:
The lights on the divers video camera did not work, they had their ordinary lights though. The divers ordinary lights worked.


Peter Lindberg:
I'm not certain but the copper tether might be replaced with a fiber optic cable, I'll guess we will get better quality of both data and video

We must return the ROV before the 20th July so that is what we have to plan for.

Peter Lindberg:
We are not 100 % certain about the different objects whereabouts on the circle, it can still be that we have got everything wrong about their placements. So if I were in your cloths I should not start paying for any "lost" bets yet...

The finding is most probably a natural formation, but if it is constructed in any way I believe it must be of pre-ice age.

Dennis Åsberg:
Sorry the hole is on the left side but it is very difficult to get an exact pose production.

Lars Rasmussen Thanks Peter. @ Laura The normal temperature of the baltic (and North sea) below 30 meters appr. would never go below 4 CELSIUS.

-1 Celsius is not normal and if it's because of some defect or other, I can not answer ... but that's what we had

We will not use a drill on this expedition, it is far to complicated. The divers must try to hammer a bit off the surface where it possible. I'll make sure they bring a real sledge hammer this time. Bij een zeer sterk electro-magnetisch veld zou dat misschien kunnen.
Het lijkt op de verhalen die bij UFO-encounters wel vaker worden gemeld.

Maar zo'n veld moet dan wel enorm sterk zijn en dat zou al veel eerder geregistreerd moeten zijn, is het niet door schepen dan wel door satellieten.

Waarom niet met de geeigende meetapparatuur de sterkte van dat meten en het dan zeker weten ipv. blijven gissen?

een lichtbron met accu is het meest simpele electrische circuit dat er bestaat.
Camera's en alle andere electronica is veel gevoeliger voor verstoringen.
Ook de lichten in de camera zijn dat omdat ze aangestuurd worden door een electronisch circuit. Waarom deden die het dan wél?



Nothing on tape, toch zijn er beelden.
Rara politiepet.
Het werkt af en toe wel en af en toe niet, toch wordt er gesproken over "constant electrical equipment failure" (zie bovenste quote).

Een veld zo sterk dat het videobeelden kan wissen moet makkelijk opgemerkt kunnen worden, dat kan ik zelfs al met 10 euro aan onderdelen uit de Conrad catalogus.
Huiswerk voor deze boys dus.

Ik bepaal me in mijn reactie even tot dit gedeelte omdat ik daar wat zinnigs over meen te kunnen zeggen, maar er zitten meer inconsistenties in het verhaal.
Misschien komt dat door de vertaling, ik weet het niet.
